Mission
Global Gallery is a fair trade, nonprofit coffee shop dedicated to promoting fair trade, handcrafted products from around the world while developing cultural enrichment through educational workshops and social events.
Global Gallery supports a wide variety of fair trade cooperatives and offers handcrafted products from around the world.
OUR WORK
Beyond retail, Global Gallery serves as a community gathering space in Columbus, hosting free live music, art exhibitions, and educational events that create accessible entry points into global culture and fair trade practices.
HISTORy
Global Gallery was established in the Short North Arts District of Columbus, Ohio in 1991, when four local churches came together to support artisans and farmers through the sale of fair trade products.
As a nonprofit marketplace, it has since grown into a longstanding hub for international and local art, providing a platform for underserved art forms while extending financial support to artists in Ohio and around the world.
Over the years, Global Gallery has operated in multiple locations as it expanded its reach and deepened its connection to the community. Today, it operates a single location in the Clintonville area of Columbus, Ohio.
Through its retail and programming efforts, Global Gallery now supports more than 1,500 artists and producers across over 45 countries annually.
